Fantastic accommodation and the owner Heidi is so helpful, friendly and clearly a dog lover herself. Could not recommend highly enough 🐕

We left our 7 month whippet for an over night stay (his first one) we were so impressed with the facility. Really clean & welcoming environment. Bert was left in safe hands & I’m not sure he wanted to leave! He was exercised with other whippets & the room he stayed in was clean & cosy. I highly recommend this pup hotel!

Heidi looked after my 2 spoiled salukis recently and I was very impressed by the set up and Heidi's lovely caring nature. The setting is beautiful and calming for the boys who hate any type of change. Heidi is also very flexible with food and bedding , anything to ease them into their stay. Will be back.

We recently visited the Lake District and took our cocker spaniel with us. We decided to book him in at the Hairy Hound Hotel and admittedly were a little bit worried as he’s never been in a kennels before. However, we need not have worried at all as this really is an excellent place for dogs. The owner has great dog knowledge and it’s obvious she cares about them a lot. She kept us posted on how our dog was getting on during his stay and gave us some good training advice. We actually took our dog out for walks on a couple of days and he was really pleased when we took him back, which says it all about how much he was enjoying his stay. If you’re visiting the north lakes and are looking for somewhere for your dog I would highly recommend the Hairy Hound Hotel.
