A great little coffee shop, great service with great cakes. Very busy when we were there on a Sunday in early Jan. The car park was closed but worth spending time finding a place to park. Would recommend if you are nearby needing refreshments.

A lovely Coffee shop with scrumptious brownie and delicious bacon and sausage sandwiches. Perfect place for a break after a long walk from Keswick.

Wonderful place to stop for some refreshments at the end of the Keswick to Threlkeld railway walk, before turning around and heading back. Fantastic coffee from Farrars and great cakes. Cheese scone and chilli jam also amazing.

Not for biker's!!!
Just started to rain when approached the entrance. Not friendly for anyone on bike who would like to stay dry for a moment.
Left the bike under the roof on the balcony, within a second, I have been told off by "Manager not owner " I can't not be there without any good reason. The balcony could fit 5 empty tables for four but not me & my dry bike. Sorry but that was the last thing I was expecting after half a day on the bike ...
Getting to the point the "Manager needs a bike " maybe will be more happy in general, maybe will be more happy to understand guests/ customers are always right.

We walked from Portinscale through Keswick on the newly updated old railway walk. By the time we got back to the car we walked 14 miles. There and back. The cafe was really good. Nice staff and great scones with jam and cream . Definitely worth a visit.
The walk to get there was quite easy, a gentle slope up and quite easy walk back. It may have rained but well worth the walk

Food was super fresh. Crispy salad, well marinated chicken and warm soft ciabatta. Coffee was delicious, the staff were very friendly and the setting was great.
Ample parking, fresh ice cream, cakes and treats. Book shelf with plenty of books for a small charitable donation. Definitely worth a visit if you're passing though.
Unfortunately, no pics of our food because we finished before thinking about leaving a review.

Lovely little cafe. We walked the Keswick Railway Path and at the turn point headed into Threlkeld for coffee and food before heading back to Keswick. Food was lovely as was the service, friendly staff.
Lovely views from the terrace.

Friendly staff, good quality food. Would be nice if they served hot paninis rather than just cold sandwiches. Hot chocolates are great! Really nice walk/cycle along the railway line from Keswick. Always a lot of bikes there, would be very beneficial to have some bike racks available. Would be neater (bikes are usually resting all over tables and walls outside) and far easier to lock them up safely.

Lovely and friendly service, excellent coffee and fab food.
The pancakes had plenty of syrup and delicious crispy bacon. The bacon roll was scrumptious too, overall good value grub with a nice view of some sheep.
