Rib Eye Steak was cooked to perfection, fell apart in the mouth. The cherry tomatoes and mushrooms on the side were also amazing! Usually skip on eating the tomatoes at meals but these were lovely. We stayed for a couple more drinks & had the cheese board dessert. Nice atmosphere and great service from the staff. Dog friendly 🐕 Can't leave a room review as we didn't stay in one.

Very polite staff😊. Always somewhere to sit with your dogs. You do not have to book a table to get a beer.

The pub, beer and staff were good however the pizza wasn’t the best. I had the pepperoni which was a very thick base, not the greatest and hubby had the goats cheese and onion marmalade that was served without any mozzarella just the base and some sauce? We did check the menu afterwards as thought it odd and it does state it should have had the mozzarella base as standard. Not the best meal we’ve had.

Had lunch here,staff extremely friendly & helpful! Ordered 2 pizzas,salad! Very tasty! Chef gave us some free chips which were very tasty! Small with loads of character, will definitely come back,as food was great

Absolutely amazing place. Amazing atmosphere, absolutely lovely staff. So kind and welcoming. The food is impeccable. but their lamb dish is the best I’ve ever had hands down. 100% worth a visit , everything is cooked fresh which makes a difference.second time we have visited it and not disappointed.Amazing.

We stayed in the village for the last 11 days and eaten 3 times at the Sally and enjoyed every meal from great pizzas and carbonara to a really tasty greek lamb dish. Great staff and excellent food. Thank you

I stopped here for food with my friend on Easter Saturday. The food was gastro pub style meets fine dining. It was refreshing that it wasn't just all booked out for meals and you could sit and drink. Staff were extremely friendly and it was dog friendly too. Food was amazing.

Brilliant food and nice bar. Small menu as everything is home made. Ate here twice and all meals were amazing. Pizza boxes to take home the left overs. Fab service and dog friendly. Will be back.

We have ate twice here for mains and another occasion just had a dessert. All 3 times have been sublime! First Visit; Had a few drinks in here and a dessert. We had the Chocolate Egg with fruit Salad. It was absolutely amazing. Under the fruit salad was a mango mousse which was complete bliss. After we consumed the dessert we found out that it's all home made, including the half an Easter egg. Hats off to the chef and the team here it tasted brilliant. Second Visit; We had Pizza, again this was superb. Fresh and delicious! Even had Pizza boxes to take home the bits we didn't eat. The fries were all excellent with a tiny hint of rosemary! Yet again you can tell the dish was freshly prepared and cooked. Third Visit; We had the Pork and yes, Pizza again. (The pizza is that good!) Brilliant! Thanks to everyone who made our evenings in your establishment exceedingly good. When we return to the lakes we will certainly be back here!

The food here was incredible! The pizza was really delicious, and the special dessert they had that day - pistachio and olive cake with ice cream - was absolutely stunning. Highly recommend. The atmosphere was also really nice and laid back and we really enjoyed our time here
